When teams lose to Maokai but refuse to ban it

Why IMT why? Maokai is one of the strongest top laners and can destroy backlines. Yet Huni won't do the Ekko into it.

That was beyond stupid >.<. If your going to go 3 ADCs at least make sure one is a freakin tank buster.

I don't see why Huni didn't play Ekko, even going AP on him if you need to.

Also the Urgot counter for Zed was brilliant! Until Polbelter's first item is a damn Black Cleaver instead of a Frozen Heart >.<

My thing is, is that so many people are playing these non-top ranged champs top lane which makes it hard for the top laners who play REAL top laners to do anything but get poked out of lane. ADCs should stay bot IMO and melees should be top like they are meant to be. I love melee champs and it's kinda sad that they are being pushed out of meta for dumb reasons.

But yes they should have picked like a Jinx or Vayne if they really thought that 3 adcs was a good thing (I don't think it would have worked out anyways). I don't even remember them getting last whisper or anything with Armor Pen. either though I didn't pay much attention to their items...I was too busy yelling at them lmao

Huni & Turtle BOTH had Lord Dominik's in Game 1. I checked, but I remembered it explicitly because the casters were wondering why one of them hadn't gone into Mortal Reminder

I would love to know why they didn't either ban Maokai or pick Ekko considering Huni loves him. Mao was soooooooo impactful and has been in every game he's been in lately.
