It is still popular remember for a game that really doesn't advertise it's pro side of the game they still have high cash purses for winning major events and still get a couple hundred thousand people watching that is good in perspective compared to say MLS which struggles with ratings. I think it is purely speculative I enjoy watching it and it's what got me to play this game watching bjerg and TSM wreck shop
funny i dont see pros bitching about the game i see people who cant make it 2 pro lvl bitching also bitching about tanks being no skill but are fine when damage dealers 1 shot people like that takes skill

I agree with that and I think it will with all the changes coming for next season. I just love watching a good close that is close and even like NA LCS this summer with TSM and IMT I thought the games were extremely competitive where they easily could have gone either way
