Analysis and excuse of why SKT lost to SSG and also what will happen to SKT next season

So sad that SKT got sweeped, I kind of wanted SSG to win because SKT has a really bad color scheme for skins, but I know more about the personality of the SKT members compared to SSG, which I only know Ambition and Ruler, so I was depressed when they got 3-0'd and Faker covered his face.

Reasons why SKT lost : There was not enough air-con and Faker senpai was starting to sweat XD [slayer-jinx-catface] And if Cuvee was AP kennen then Faker would be able to get Abyssal Mask on Cassiopeia which is much better but Cuvee went AD Ruler's just a better adc, see Dong Huap's 'Ruler is the most agressive AD Carry in Korea' video

SKT next Season Season 8 runes = more damage Carries are better Huni plays carries well Peanut is amazing at carries Faker... Do I need to say? Bang and Wolf are meh, I don't think they are at the level of other SKT starters, many world class bottom laners outclass them. They don't have anything that make them special, they're just average at everything on a prffesional level.

Season 8 is when Faker will start to polish new fangs again and also when Peanut becomes as dominant as when he was in ROX (The meta will be perfect for him) Peanut will be one of, if not the best junglers in an aggressive jungler meta, especially with the changes to catchup exp and . Huni is also a great aggressive splitpusher toplaner. They may have lost really badly, but it was because of the mid lane supportive and tank meta combined with item 3504 .

Roster change to bottom and/or support won't be unlikely if kkoma knows who he wants to replace Bang and Wolf with.

Everyone get better and tries to win worlds to continue the dynasty of SKT PS: Yes I know, this is way too optimistic something will definitely go wrong.

As someone that loves SKT, I just honestly think that they weren't doing well this season at all. They took two of their matches to 5 games, and honestly SSG looked a lot better overall. It's not surprise to me that SKT lost, although I am a bit surprised it was a sweep, I did expect them to fail this year. I think it didn't have as much to do with the meta but the fact that SKT became a bit complacent with their gameplay and just expected to win. Also I think Faker is overhyped.

I don't think they will make any roster changes, as long as the players don't chose to leave themselves. With how Bangs year is going, he might just retire. He has underperforming for sure, but especially on Korean Boards he seems to get completely roasted, for everything he does (or that's what I have read about it on English sites). He is just a slum, play and moral wise.

If he stays it's most likely to prove that he belongs in SKT, and i'm expecting they will come back stronger then ever. This meta was completely the opposite what they wanted; ADC focused meta, when Bang is in a slum, and weak carries in every other role with 3 strong carry players. In a more suitable Meta I expect SKT to turn to their former glory with the same roster.

If he retires, Wolf will most likely retire as well. And as I doubt the dual lanes of SSG or LZ will leave their team, they most likely need to get a somewhat weaker or rookie bot lane. They will properly still turn out to be a top-team, but will most likely not win LCK or Worlds.

As for the others there isn't just a reason to change them; Huni played pretty good during Worlds. Peanut/Blank are together the perfect jungler with some more practice and a better Meta; Peanut as carry jungler, Blank as tank/support jungler.

Besides I don't know with who they will change them for, unless some players from LZ/SSG will join.
