Hey everyone and welcome to Patch 8.3. Get ready for the Swain Train!

I’m Riot Novalas & I’m a QA Analyst on Riot’s Playtest Team, a group of high elo players who work on Core Gameplay playing new champions, reworks, balance tweaks, items, and map updates before they’re released. It’s our job to test the changes that our designers come up with and ensure that we’re introducing positive changes to League in terms of both balance and fun.

Swain hits live with this patch receiving a full Visual Game Update. Riot King Cobra and Riot Madness Heroo are the two playtesters for Swain and they'll be around to answer (most) Swain-related questions!

Outside of the Noxian Grand General, this patch has nerfs to Azir, Jarvan IV, Kog'Maw and more! We've also got some love for Master Yi & Viktor. Unsealed Spellbook took a summoner CDR hit & some Inspiration runes were moved around!

Ask us ANYTHING about 8.3. We're here to answer questions about your favorite champions, inquiries about runes, or maybe how often we execute to jungle camps! Feel free to hit us up about our experiences with Swain in development! We're also down to just chat, though.

What are your thoughts about Soraka's current state? She feels pretty undepowered right now and outclassed by other enchanters in nearly every aspect. Are you worried that Morello changes will negatively imapct her winarate even more?

I am concerned about what you guys are doing to urgot. With frozen mallet being nerfed for ranged it seems like every item he loves to get is being weakened or taken away from him completely. He is still in a pretty decent spot, but his itemization options are terrible and seem to be getting worse.

I don't feel like Master Yi's buffs are enough to kill his enemies, since everyone always focuses him. Every single assassin in the game has a CC, but Yi is still lacking that. Will you give him at least one sometime soon? Or more escaping ways?

Regarding the new AP items on PBE, how do you guys think they'll do specifically on Karthus? I'm waiting on the Items to come through until I decided to ask for Karthus to be looked at again. I'm kinda hoping there's at least something that can help his JG building :P

Any insight on Kayn? He always feels kind of...lacking, compared to other junglers. I feel like either his earlygame is TOO weak for his transformation, or his lategame scaling power is too little to compensate his weaker earlygame. Any changes for him planned currently?

I'll take a shot in the dark and assume you guys think GP is still too strong (and I'm not telling you you're wrong lol) What I'm wondering about tho, how do you think he should be handled from here? Do you think he needs Direct changes, indirect changes (to Kleptomancy?)

Speaking of which, are you guys happy with the spot Kleptomancy is in rn? Or is the difference between it's ok and great users still too high?

What do you think about Swain being able to heal up during Zhonia's? Seeing someone Health change while in Stasis seems off.

What do you think of the current state of lucian?and is there more buffs planned for him? e.g. Q range (900/950/1000/1050/1100)
