Why isn't there a 'cold' and a 'worst' tab?

How are we supposed to see where 'player behaviour' posts go to die?

Kidding aside, I think those tabs would be a nice luxury simply based on interest. It could serve as a quick overview of what is currently a no-go for the voting community and it could be used to get a better grasp of what opinions were heavily disliked in the past and how that held up with the passing of time.

It's not that important, but would be a nice addition nonetheless.

Because that would fall under "naming and shaming" is probably the easiest answer.

I think that takes the concept of naming and shaming a bit far, but I guess I can see your point.

Oh well, guess my curiosity will and should stay unsatisfied with this one.

Same reason there isn't one on imgur. People would make threads solely to try and get the most downvotes.

Wouldn't that quickly balance itself out with people being aware of that and not voting? Is that any different than people farming for upvotes?

Just wondering. In hindsight I realise that the suggestion in my thread is not a good one. I was looking at things purely from a theoretical interest. I didn't calculate for people trolling or witch hunting.

As Modi says, it would be naming and shaming.

Imagine being hailed as the Boards User with the worst post of all time.
