How can we edit a thread title?

I made a spelling mistake in one of my threads and it's tilting me.

Please save me from insanity.

(Why did I always ignore it when my professors told me to reread my shit)

Ask a moderator nicely? Which thread do you need help with?

It’s not possible to edit a thread title. But you can always delete and repost your thread with the correct title.

Simple answer:

Ya don't.

Greetings, I'm not sure that regular Boards users can edit their own thread titles (I'll have to look more into the technical flow before I have a more definite answer), but if you'd like a thread title changed, you can ping a Moderator on the Boards or on the Discord, and they should be able to assist you further.

Thanks and I will certainly do that in the future if it concerns a thread that sees enough traffic to warrant a correction. Otherwise I wouldn't want a mod to waste any time on this or I'll just delete it and repost as Heyitzsteve suggested.

Regular users being able to change their thread titles might be something to consider in future iterations of the boards. But maybe you already considered that at some point.
