A question for the moderation

I already know the answer I will get, but it amuses me to deal with first tier support after 14 years in the industry:

Why are comments and threads consistently removed or edited, however those few users who quite literally wander the boards calling anyone they disagree with idiots (or worse), blatantly, are happily ignored? It cannot be a lack of reporting, I and others have tried that, so there is another reason. Most comments I have seen removed are by users complaining about RIOT, and then below when discussing the issue with other players their statements are moderated... and blatantly offensive statements against them are happily ignored.

For example, a user saying someone else is being "purposely thick", which is only insulting if you have no idea what the phrase means, removed in the same thread that someone else has quite bluntly called them stupid.

I do not like to call administrative bias, but. .

To be honest, we tend to moderate comments against community members more than comments against Riot. If you see stuff you reported that gets through and are wondering why, feel free to drop by the Moderation Discord and give us a personal heads-up so we can take a direct look and know your thoughts on the comment as well. We're a volunteer team empowered to use our discretion, so it's possible someone was feeling forgiving, didn't think the comment was as bad as you might (or another moderator might), or it's just a slow moderation day as we all have other things going on.

Really? I've seen a lot of coments calling literally the Dev balance team retarded and these were not deleted, while I had a few coments deleted by the mods talking to boards members (not complaining about it) so I don't see any bias there.

Fanboys bro. I made a thread about it. They hate me I have nothing but downvotes and don’t care lol. Up and down votes are a sign of how lame these forums really are.

I experienced that to be true even though moderators don't admit that. When you're reporting a highly toxic comment 7 consecutive days without any action taken against them (especially when the writer has a constant history of such things) and still have to point them towards it on the boards discord and they say: "I'm not looking in comments older than X" you really feel like some of them have their BFs in the moderation team.
