Hey everyone! if you want to have discussions on the boards more, go to the new section

there are many great posts/ideas/discussions in the new section, but for the most part people tend to just look at the hot section.

What's the new section?

in the top middle there are 4 sections, hot, new, recent, and best. hot are the more recent posts, around a couple hours new, with a large amount of upvotes. new are posts made just minuets before. recent are posts made around 10 hours or more ago, but don't have enough upvotes to become hot. best... best are the really old posts with thousands of upvotes.

Actually recent bumps any thread that gets a reply to the top. I know this because somebody keeps bumping threads from 2-3 years ago and wont fucking stop

'Recent' is where I go to find topics to discuss. It encompasses new posts, but also posts that have hot discussions going on in them. Easier to find interesting or controversial topics there because people reply to those types of topics, thus refreshing them to the recent board.

true, I tend to switch between new, and hot.
