Boards PSA - Hovering over thread votes will show vote breakdowns

If I post a thread that I know will be fairly controversial, +11/-10 is much more rewarding to see than +1/-0

These changes will do more to give each individual vote value, rather than simply one upvote cancelling out one downvote, and vice versa. Sometimes the most polarizing threads foster great discussions, and it may be hard to tell when a thread seems to only have 2 votes.

but that means more follow up post from people checking their post seeing like 10 upvotes and 3 downvotes, and going on a tangent on who disagreed with them. this is going to be more entertaining

A recent update had broken this feature within BEK, so we went ahead and implemented it natively to the Boards- not only because it was a long-existing feature within BEK, but also because it really does help make each vote matter.

There are a number of reasons why we can't simply roll BEK into the Boards, but that's a discussion for another time.

It'll only show on sub-board index pages, which means it won't show on your Boards Profile or within threads (yet).

If you tap the voting section of a thread, it doesn't switch over to show the vote breakdown? What device are you using?

It appears to be working on both Chrome and Safari browsers on my iPhone.

Can you provide a screenshot of what you're seeing and what sub-board(s)/thread(s) you're trying?

I won't take credit for the idea; FEK/BEK has had it way before I was able to add it to the Boards :P

We'll be rolling out a few updates to this feature in the near future, so hopefully that resolves any issues you may be having. If not, I can definitely work with you to try to figure out what's going on!
