I have seem too many amazing skin ideas that would be really popular, but they never tend to be noticed, so what if there was a weekly skin poll? I'm not sure how often the mods browse the boards, but at the end of the week they could make a poll of all the skins they browsed over, or just have people submit their skin ideas in the comments.
ModThe Djinn1 votesPersonally, we found the big compilation threads are not actually as commonly viewed or appreciate it as you would think. I think it would go doubly true for something like this, because it would raise awareness of things and make it look somewhat official, while having no bearing on what Riot actually decides to do or implement. The best case scenario is that it generates a little bit of interaction in one place once a week, and the worst case scenario is it increases false hopes and is a lot of effort that no one appreciates.
I'm all for ways to increase Community engagement, but I'm not sure that this is a direction I would personally take.

I was actually referring to megathreads that WE'VE made in the past. :P

The latter part is fantastic, but the former is part of my worry -- We can't (and don't) speak for Riot, and I don't want to raise expectations that Riot will in any way notice or act upon the results of such a thread.

Again, I'd love to, but until I see a trend of our megathreads getting more attention when we do them it seems like a lot of work for relatively minimal gain. In the past we haven't seen a particularly heavy interest in them.

I'd love to see that board get more use, personally, but it's difficult to encourage people to do so.

The order of the new section is determined by what posts are newest, the order of a hot section is based on which posts are popular, and the front page is based on popular posts across all boards. We do not, to my knowledge, have individual control over which threads get chosen.
