Can we discuss the website?

This technically counts as discussing the boards, as the boards are part of the website as a whole. So we have this fancy, updated looking homepage and boards, but then if you want to find out about champions or items or things like that, it takes you to the old outdated website, that isn't even current on champions, items, or their updates. Just curious, is this a WIP? Is Riot working on updating the part that people would probably want to look at if they were to start playing the game, or maybe review things outside the client? Or are we just supposed to use the client and things like the LoL Wiki?

EDIT: So I just found the "Universe" tab, however if you want to look at champions and stuff, it still takes you back to the old school pages.
