Like seriously dude posted once in the wrong section (most likely a mistake), was told to make the same thread on report a bug so he did it. Has a genuine problem that affects multiple people and gets downvoted? for what god damn reason? can the people who did that take off those downvotes or leave these forums? like holy cow....

Its the internet...and unfortunately, even a well thought out idea or argument with facts that have yet to be challenged or countered can be downvoted to oblivion just because the first 2 people feel like being counter productive and don't respect anything that doesn't agree with their bias.

Or people just don't like you for sharing your personal experience....

I got like 40+ downvotes once on an irelia hate thread just for saying "I never had too many issues dealing with irelia in lane and I was probably lucky for that."

then I was spammed with comments about how all those irelia players probably didn't know what they were doing....which I already had implied when I said I was probably lucky.

I didn't downvote him. I politely recommend he post in the correct section so he could get help for his problem. What would you have me do?

Ehh there's just some people out there that like to downvote everything, there was one thread earlier that was basically a PSA that nexus blitz was not becoming permanent and it had downvotes.

Many people here love to push that downvote button, in addition to not bringing anything to the discussion. Freaking reddit style forums do not work...

I would probably not downvote those threads, but the way the title is formatted (ALL CAPS AND EXCLAMATION POINTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) instantly makes me want to not click it and not take it seriously. If he has a legitimate issue, a little bit of professionalism goes a long way. I know he formatted it that way so it would garner attention, but it's the wrong kind of attention.

Something like "Bug Alert: My promo failed twice with zero losses..." would have worked a lot better.

Honestly from the title of his posts it sounded like one of those weird elo climbing guide videos and I thought it was an ad for that, lmao.

I didn’t downvote them, I felt genuine empathy for them infact.

Be advised that, although your intentions may be in the right place, defending someone else’s post and telling others not to downvote it, regardless of the situation, can cause more people to downvote the post just to see if they get a reaction out of you. It is an unfortunate situation they found themselves in, that is for certain and I’m truly hoping a resolution is found that won’t involve them having to do their promos again.
