Can we get the option in the board settings to turn on a profanity filter for the boards?

I mean, the client has this feature built in, but I come to the boards and the F word is used in half the threads I read.

there are chrome extensions that can censor profanity for you

fuck just isn't covered with it coz it's more of a casual use word than derogatory

I can talk with our Board Developer volunteers, but I don't know if this is something we have the capability to add to this platform.

Honestly, an opt-out profanity filter for the boards would be great, in my opinion. Could allow everyone to choose whether they want to view filtered terms, and could even make it easier for people to discuss chat-bans when they've used terms that are filtered out on the boards. Definitely seems like an option worth considering, if it's possible with the platform.

Then again, with all the new games coming, there will probably be new boards made for them (after all, this is the "League of Legends" website). Might be a good time (for Riot and volunteers) to look at formats that allow for more features, like an opt-out profanity filter.
