Can we just make this easier on everyone and ban discussions that involve "China"?

This is ridiculous. I'm posting exactly the same as I have for the last 3-4 years, in the same generally respectful manner, and the number of posts I've had removed has doubled in the last week alone. 5 posts deleted in 6 days, and I'm hardly the only one.

Lets cut to the core of the problem - Moderation views it as impossible to talk about China. You can't talk about why some actions may be taken, you can't talk history, you can't talk about if the source is accurate or not, nothing.

Please, update the rules to say "You can't talk about anything regarding China" and be done with it. I'm sick of this beating around the bush.

Right now our policy hasn't really changed. Talking about China in relation to League directly is fine. Talking about the political history of a country, how Westernization has affected it, current tensions with other countries, stances on social issues, etc..... that's always not been allowed whether it's China, the US, Canada, or any other country. Politics and social issues are not allowed on the Boards -- it's stated in the Universal Rules. All your posts that have been removed have fallen into one of these categories.

Talking about news sources, their reliability, their political stances, their biases -- that's also not allowed under the same rules.

That's easier, not better.

Correct me if I'm wrong but was it that ever since there was that news "China is banning league", there was a big skyrocket of Asian discrimination such as:

  • China ruined league!
  • no more internet cafe catering!
  • no more Tencent ruining League! And stuff like that?

I for one don't even know what's true anymore. But boards been going really crazy since last week now.
