#Welcome to the official League of Legends Boards!

I'm glad you chose to join us on the Boards today, so I'd like to provide some resources to assist you in using them to their fullest potential. The following links are the Boards Usage series, which will go over some of the Board's features and rules that many players may overlook or be unaware of, especially if they are visiting for the first time.

I'd like to suggest adding to this thread and updating it with a section that briefly answers frequently asked questions (especially on the Player Behavior Boards).

No need to be triggered, good sir. I was simply expressing my approval of this thread. I'm pleased to see progress being made towards reducing some of the overhead that we see here on the Boards. I'm excited. You could almost say that I'm...euphoric.

nice.. glad to see this! i look forward to seeing more things like this. there should also be some basics about posting... like in the balance section... like if your asking for a buff or a nerf.. to provide data as to WHY said champion/s need X buff or nerf

That sucks :( This can happen if there is an inconveniently timed interruption in your internet (packet loss, it may not affect all your internet so you may not notice the interruption and may be brief), so the client either doesn't know the queue popped or the server never sees that you clicked Accept. Most of the time there's nothing to be done about that, but if you see frequent interruptions with your connection or issues like this you may want to look at the Connection Troubleshooting Guide or contact Player Support in a Support Ticket for help.

Can your account be banned in game for something you said on boards while logged in?

Also, can you give specifics on what gets you banned in game as you so eloquently did here? Riot surely isn't interested in clearing up their vague banning system.

Your behavior would have to be pretty extreme to get a ban extended from the Boards onto your account (or if it becomes apparent by your posts that the account is compromised).

As far as what gets you banned in game, you have to think of it more in terms of whether the behavior is consistently and/or extremely negative. While certain extreme behavior like threats or hate speech can result in an immediate ban or a significant amount of direct insulting can lead to a chat restriction, consistently being negative (in a less severe way) can add up to a punishment eventually. You don't necessarily have to be "toxic" to be punished, being a generally disruptive and rude person causes a lot of frustration for the other players, too. Intentionally bad or trolling gameplay can also be punished of course, and they don't issue chat restrictions for that it just goes to bans.

Putting it out there for the meta slaves that kassadin is op right now. Build frozen first then tear into abyssal mask and if you're worrying about damage don't I just saw my teammates get oneshotted regardless. You'll take no damage from the adc because of frozen and zhonyas and your passive plus abyssal mr will make you take no damage from the midlaner too. Enjoy the free lp!

You don't, not really. Being reported doesn't mean you can or will be punished; only legitimate reports will result in a punishment. I recommend posting on the Player Behavior board to get more information on this, as this thread and board isn't the appropriate place.
