can we purge the Yuumi topics please?

within the first 6 hours there have been at least 12 topics discussing about how broken, trashy, op, Yuumi is and it is getting annoying. there is no reason to spam the message to get your point across. we all know she is a problem in some way. and you know what else? crying about it ain't gonna fix it. if you don't like her then don't fucking play her. if a player in your group selects her either ask them nicely not to or dodge the queue. and for you draft/ranked players you can be dicks and permaban her so no one plays her. so like it or not Yuumi is part of the roster now and riot ain't gonna remove her. they didn't remove Pyke when you complained about him, they didn't remove Neeko when you complained about her, and they didn't remove Akali when she got reworked. so this surge of Yuumi topics has to stop. there is no reason for it.

Welcome to the league of legends boards. This tread has been going on for a good 7 years, maybe even 8 years. It’s something you learn to tune out.

Coming from someone who has moderated multiple boards across all different categories (travel/airline related, general discussion, video game specific, and more), megathreads simply do not work for most "on topic" discussion topics. For one, the amount of additional work to moderate threads and direct them to a megathread is generally prohibitive, as well as the inability to maintain separate discussion in a megathread (because all comments go off one another). The League boards kinda get around this with discussion view, but only 50 comments at a time are shown in discussion view, so discussions can get cut off or end prematurely because they lose visibility.

Simply put, megathreads stifle valid discussion and aren't helpful.
