So Because I posted in the "wrong" section my entire post gets deleted

When I go to the Boards the main page is made of a mix of different section posts, I assumed my post would wind up there. But since I was wrong section the entire post gets deleted, not moved to another section. The hilarious irony here is this happened on April 1st, which tells that not even today APRIL FOOLS; the cannot moderators take a joke.

I'm just disgusted at what happened, seeing as my effort and attempt at a joke not only seems to be misunderstood but gets deleted entirely.

Of course I will endeavor to post correct section next time, but still this has left a poor taste in my mouth...

I'd suggest, gives 3 strikes with an auto-move each time, rather than deleting a whole post. The latter option feels like a nuclear option.

Believe me -- we'd like to be able to move your post as well. We can't. That function isn't supported by the boards at this point in time. I'm sorry it's inconvenient, but deleting posts posted in the wrong section is pretty much the only thing we've got to make sure things stay where they belong.

Is it really that big of a deal you can just make a new post copy and paste the old and hit the right board this time. I mean your losing some time and it is annoying but I don't find it to be a big deal but maybe that's me.
