"Had a post about the site being wonky when Watch Reward missions were first a thing. Glad to see not much has changed. Over 10 years of production and Riot continues to just find absolute geniuses among all fields of IT. Working client, working sites, balanced gamed, great sales pitch on the recent Prestige skin, and a support team far too intelligent for their own good. Always impressed to be honest."

Yea, the moderators are pretty orwellian when it comes to things like this. I got banned because I answered a question about Goblin Slayer on their discord.

Give me a minute to look up your violation and I'll see if I can shed a bit more light onto it.

So it appears that the problematic portions were those that were sarcastically talking about the "absolute geniuses" and "a support team far too intelligent for their own good". Given the context (that rewards weren't working) it was pretty clearly read as you meaning the opposite. I totally understand your frustration with the issue (I had to watch two full days of live and 10+ VODs before my rewards registered and I was lucky), there is no need to start insulting Riot and their intelligence. The Golden Rule specifically states to be respectful of others, even Rioters, and such comments aren't very respectful. Basically in this instance, the saying "If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all" holds true.

Now regarding the other comments, it's very possible those comments were not reported or somehow missed. We don't catch everything as a team since we are just a smaller volunteer squad. If you see someone violating the rules, please hit that report button and we'll review it as soon as we can. You can also bring stuff to our attention quicker via the Moderation Discord provided we are available. However, just because someone else didn't get punished doesn't mean your post doesn't violate the rules. If two people rob different gas stations on the same night and one of them gets caught, does that mean that because the other got away that the one that was caught shouldn't get punished? It's the same idea here. I will be looking into that thread and reviewing it for offending comments.

If you have more questions, feel free to ask. I did edit out your final comment since that wasn't really necessary and was just insulting to the mod who did the removal.

Yes. It's censorship. Censorship by itself is not a bad thing. People do it all the time for perfectly acceptable reasons, like asking people to not talk on their cell phone during a movie or to keep quiet while in a library. The question always has to be, "does the censorship survive scrutiny?"

In this case, it absolutely does.

Sexual assault is not a permitted topic of discussion on the Boards. The anime in question strongly features sexual assault in a way that makes it impossible to discuss that anime without broaching the subject.
