they were originally locked like any thread that got old and they got unlocked because you couldnt even see the upvotes and then he just comes and starts locking them for no reason that i can find
Generally we give the reason why a thread is being locked when we lock it. Could you provide me with any examples you have of threads being locked with no reason, or any that you're confused on why they were locked? Maybe I can help explain why these actions were taken :3.

I spoke with some other mods about this. Most of the time, we lock threads when they're extremely old and the discussion really isn't suited for the old thread. Is there a particular discussion to which you were referring?
