I came across a thread where I disagreed with the OP. I tried to downvote but the option was not available so the thread's got like 70 upvotes for no reasons.

Due to the thread review and approval process on Gameplay+, downvotes are disabled. Downvotes are, arguably, intended to filter out content that doesn't foster meaningful discussion; however, the approval process will serve this purpose instead, removing the need for downvotes.
The downvote is not a disagree button. If you disagree with someone’s point, than rationalize it and show evidence to support your side.
