Why the fuck won't this site sometimes show images in posts?

I copy an image's location and it simply puts the link here. Like what the hell? That's obviously not what i wanted!

There's a known issue about image posting at the moment. I don't have a timeline, but we're looking into it actively.

If it's a link DIRECTLY to an image then it will show automatically

If it's a link where you have to tell the "post" that it is an image you can put [/img] after the url and it should display it as an image (the [] need to be included don't just type /img)
