Universal Rules Outdated on Race Discussions?

I don't know if I got a warning or not, hopefully not. Admittedly I had not read the rule before posting.

I made a post stating that only 3/156 students in my medicine class are AA. It is a rather small percent. At the same time I noted the only dropouts/repeats are not AA. I wasn't attacking anyone under the Hate speech rule. The inappropriate discussion rule does not mention race discussions. (which I think some race discussions could be interesting. I mean Americans prefer tan, others prefer pale, etc is pretty interesting "culture/race" topics).

I understand the discussion could go in a poor direction. I was just curious to hear anyone elses thoughts on the subject. But my point is maybe the inappropriate discussion subjects should be updated to be more in line with what it dictated here. Also sorry if this topic is a discussion on race.

What is AA? I am unable to help you without knowing what it is (providing an article is fine here).

I just think the rule needs to be updated more clearly.

I made a topic just to discuss African Americans in medical school (a very low percentage of class, but doing fine in progression). The topic was closed because racial discussions are not allowed. I am fine with that (again hopefully no warning, it wasn't a hate topic), but the rules say only racial hate topics are not allowed not race in general (unlike religion which is specifically listed).

Nothing wrong. Just the reason my topic was closed was quoted as inappropriate, but it isn't listed as inappropriate in the rules.
