It should be against the rules to argue with mods on the boards

  1. Arguing with mods is just toxic.
  2. Leads to nowhere.
  3. Many forums already ban arguing with mods on their public forums. This forum should do the same.
  4. Complaints about the mods team should be forwarded somewhere else.
  5. Arguing with mods in public creates a toxic environment.
  6. Do I even need to say anything more?

The forum is very toxic atm with the complaints and the mods hatred. I've seen mods make really good threads but they get bombarded with down votes and brain dead arguments just because they are mods. Heck, I don't think mods should even disclose their name when they delete something or ban someone. I feel really bad for the mods.

Mods can have their opinion, others can have different one, as long as "arguing" or rather discussion is civil and reasonable, I don't see problem.

We created this sub-Board because we feel exactly the opposite. It's important to us that people have the opportunity to disagree with us, as long as they do so respectfully.

yeah and mods should be renamed to "lol reddit nazi mods" and every post that talks negative about riot should automatically be removed. also the boards link should be changed to lolreddit.com.

great idea. /s

[REMOVED BY MODERATION - ULANOPO]. It should be recommended that you argue with mods.

I think everyone needs to just chill out. I've seen plenty of bad comments from regular users and I've also seen some poor ones from mods. Obviously shit happens, nobody is perfect. The mods have admitted to making mistakes and I respect them for that, but you know what doesn't help their situation?

Having 2-10+ different posts all titled as "Lol trash mods" or "Fire the current mods" because someone is upset over having their comment removed. The rules are (almost always) incredibly transparent and enforced across the board so long as something is reported. If you disagree with the rules, that's 100% fine, just do it in a civil way instead of just insulting everyone with a different opinion.

Start a discussion instead of an argument, I honestly don't understand why that's such a hard thing for some people to do. Criticism is good and the mods should remain open to receiving it, but it should be constructive in nature. They're not your slaves and they're doing this of their own free will.

That doesn't make them exempt from the rules, but treat them like they're human beings for God's sakes.

######~~There, finished venting. Now bring on the downvotes. ~~

We all think that is BS. We should have freedom with fair rules. So people don't run a dictatorship.
