where is the list of moderating guidelines located

before any of you reply with "its up to discretion", thats false. there is a rules page, no forum functions without restricting the power of its moderators, so a document must exist somewhere that in detail limits their actions; requiring a certain occurrence(s) for each permitted act of authority.

there has to be guidelines on: warnings bans removal of threads removal of comments relocating threads

the "universal rules" page does not have this information.

i do not have discord. i shouldnt have to make an account to get answers.

LOCK MY THREAD WITH NO-CAUSE AGAIN. ITLL BE IN THE REPORT. "looks like this post is getting out of hand" penalize the individuals harassing me on my posts, not me.

All you need for discord to work is for you to use it in a browser and type in a username, you don't need to make an account nor do you need to download anything.

That is your choice completely.

I know forums have pm systems, but I have had problems with those personally in the past. So I can't support that idea.

Either they moderate it too much and you can't use it the way you want. (An example being instant rp. i.e. hugs Glad to see you cyar'ika.) or They don't moderate it enough and random people harass you. (i.e. "Hey, what are you doing? Join this topic!", "Do you have a moment to talk about our Savior, Teemo Yordle?" or the ever so popular "Shut up you f***ing idiot.")

Now, I know not everyone has these problems, but I am basing it off my experience and why I can't support the pm system on this forum, especially since banned game accounts can still be used on forum site.

Hey Plague,

I figured since you're upset and wonder why we have discretion I can give you a little bit of history. AHEM In the state of California roughly 10 years ago give or take - there was a three strikes policy. This meant that offenders who committed felonies or crimes that were a danger to society... were given a strike. This worked for awhile until we saw the ramifications of such a system. Under three strikes, the courts were forced to sentence people to life in prison because under three strikes there wasn't any discretion. So, you had low level offenders (drug possession) getting sentenced to life when they didn't even murder anyone or commit a serious crime. I'm a system without discretion, you're looking at mandatory sentencing and this is the way it is. However, each case is different and not everybody deserves to be given life. To relate that to here, not ever case should be handled with a blanket punishment. A healthy amount of discretion prevents low level offenses from having high tier punishments. I hope this helps you!

Edit: Seeing your other threads, I am going to lock this one too for the reason I stated before. I don't believe this will have helpful discussion and going escalate. If you would to appeal my lock, please see Boards Moderation. Thank you!
