Overall these changes are pretty good. The font is clear and crisp, and the higher contrast makes it easy to read. The gold border over everything is a bit much through imo, something a little more subtle would look better I think.

Sure! I can tone down the yellow into something closer to #695a41. Hopefully that'll help.

That would be a lot better. Still keeps the same basic color scheme and outlines everything clearly, but is subdued and easy on the eyes. Defines the border without drawing attention to it.

try something closer to... #FFE150 or #576900

Yeah, it's one of those things that fell through the cracks. It'll likely end up looking like the following picture sometime early next week:

I like how every time i comment "instant down-vote" on any other post, it doesn't get removed, but if I do it on a Riot post, it gets removed almost instantly. Equality, right?

We're not Rioters, actually. We do actually want this thread to be useful though, and that means that unproductive critique, especially before any discussion has had time to take hold, isn't really helpful and can discourage others from sharing their thoughts.
