Skin Idea: Olaf of the East.

aka. Ronin Olaf, Rolaf

A popular story arc is a Westerner going East and learning the way of the Samurai. There have been some great Samurai/Ronin berserker types portrayed over the years. I think Olaf would be amazing in this role. Can you imagine how awesome he would be with a katana in each hand with tattered old samurai armor? Most of his skins are recolors or pretty low amount of change. I would love to see some creativity go into this one. His emotes could portray his inner battle between focus and rage.

If you could somehow combine these 2 with an Olaf feel. I think they capture some of the personality that the skin would need:

Great idea, but Olaf will probably first need a VU :) along with champions like Udyr he has pretty old and blocky muscle texture. I'll be looking forward to a VU for both of them.

No idea when Olaf's VU is planned, but seems like this would be a VU with low risk and high reward, hope they'll have some time soon on their agenda to take care of him :)

I totally agree with you on this one. I'd rather this idea not be pursued until a visual upgrade is on the way. I just loved the idea, so I had to throw it out there. I remember when I first started playing this game. Berserker! (Right up my alley.) First thoughts. "What is that weird plastic yellow thing attached to this guy's head? Oh that's his hair." If he looked anything like his new splash art, I would be so happy. I can't wait for that day. I hope they give this skin idea consideration as well.

Olaf is based around Vikings/Barbarians, he uses an Axe. It would probably suit someone like Tryndamere more. Would be interesting to see nonetheless.

That is the whole point of the skin. A barbaric westerner trying to learn the ways of the Samurai. It is a story that has been told many times. I just thought it would be a cool skin.

I think that instead of katanas he should use kamas (basically what akali has). They could be redone a little thicker and more olaf-y. but the idea of the skin is super awesome.
