@Riot: What if Kayle's heal instead gave her target temporary "Life on Hit"?

One of the problems you have with Kayle is that she can patch up any damage you deal to her, making trading with her unfavorable. Since it's a sustain-capable heal, that just worsens the problem.

I got an idea from Diablo 3: Change Kayle's heal to temporarily grant a buff to her target that heals it every time it attacks something.

Why would this be better?

First, it can't be used for patching up injuries after a fight. That is something about Kayle's kit that's too much power.

Second, it rewards aggression (in fact, it only works when you are aggressive). This is what Riot wants in gameplay, so it works to a tee.

Third, it plays to Kayle's attack-speed-heavy kit. Since she builds stuff like Nashor's Tooth and Guinsoo's Rageblade... well, it's self-explanatory.

Fourth, it changes who best synergizes with Kayle by changing the reasons why you would pick her for a team. Losing access to a burst heal means she has a disadvantage compared to, say, Soraka.

Lastly, it gives the ability some counterplay: don't let her attack while she or her ally has that buff on.

Does this seem like a good way to go?
