@Morello Darius ult change that could make him feel right again until his rework. please take a look

The nerf to his ult back in patch 3.03 was to prevent him from snowballing to hard when he get the reset on his lane. Well I think I found a way to make him more like he used to be and making his late game how he used to be while preventing him from killing his lane over and over with the reset.

Noxian Guillotine now fully reset again on kill BUT cannot be casted on the same target for the cooldown duration 120/100/80. it could use the same indicator as yasuo E, Udyr stun ect.. or have a new way of indicating it. His ult would still have a downtime when used against your opponent in lane but while making him feel more like he was on his release.

That way in the late game if you happen to catch an enemy out of position with your team and SLAM JAM him you wouldnt feel like you have wasted your ult or have to run mindlessly at the enemy trying to keeping the reset or even on long team fight you could choose not to kill someone to let your adc take the kill instead if the target is already secured.

I would like to know what you think and tanks for taking the time to read this.

Edit: to get the reset he still have to kill the target with his ult like he his atm.

Edit2: also if Darius fail to get the reset noxian guillotine goes on cooldown normally the 120/100/80 is the actual cooldown but if it reset it apply only to the target who it got used on like yasuo E

It resets on kill participation or specifically kill? Because I really don't like the idea of Darius just flat getting his reset back.

Okay. Hmmm, I'm not sure. I think the idea has potential but only if the length of time that you can't use it on the same person, specifically the laning case, is thoroughly tested to make sure that it still keeps laning against Darius as a feasible possibility. Are you thinking the time lengths would stay static or would they be effected by CDR?

his ult would be pretty much exactly how it is atm in the laning phase and yes CDR should affect it

If CDR is going to effect it the numbers for the target specific cooldown might need to be adjusted a bit to make sure that people don't CDR rune and brutalizer cheese early, but I'm sure they'd test for abuse cases like that on PBE. Honestly I think Darius is stronger than he's really given credit for but I do get that he won't see competitive play without changes simply because his kit right now doesn't match the meta.

dude the number of the cd are the exact same as he have currently why would we nerf his cd?, hes already weak as fuck and this cd is resonable

Which would be relevant if Darius was literally restricted to only his lane, but giving support in the jungle or TP'ing to a dragon fight can net Darius a kill that will instant reset his ult in other situations that don't occur in lane but effect laning phase. Also, yet again, he isn't a weak champion, not even close. The only problem with Darius is that the current meta doesn't fit his kit, which is always going to apply to some champions no matter what the meta is. Doesn't make them a weak champion.

he may be not so weak in low elo but in diamond hes weak af
