@Riot: What would you do to design a Voodoo-centric Champion?

The fact that League doesn't have a Voodoo Champion at the moment strikes me as... odd. Is it a stereotype you tried to avoid due to "THAT'S RACIST!" feedback fears? I don't think that's as much of an issue anymore since Lucian has been introduced.

Anyhow, in making a Voodoo Champion, what road would you take? Would you go something along the lines of Doctor Facilier from The Princess and the Frog?

Or would you go something less human, but still Voodoo? Something like Tiki Tong from Donkey Kong Country Returns?

Well they had a Voodoo champion concept back in the day, but was scrapped because it didn't meet their standards I believe. I have no idea if they have one in the works, but a Voodoo champion sounds like it could be really interesting.

Passive:Transfer: [voodoo champion] transfers his soul into the nearest allied unit (except champions) for a few seconds, adding all of his stats to that of the allied unit (but I can see that being kinda overpowered with super minions)

Q:Painkiller: Reduces damage for a single ally for X number of seconds

W:Zombify:[voodoo champion] revives a small minion (I.E. casters or whatever the ones that are melee are called) for a short period of time. (this can be changed as I realize it is sort of a retread of Yorick)

E:(I dunno) Any Ideas?

R:(I haven't thought of a name yet) [voodoo champion] gives a voodoo doll (of course) of a nearby enemy (champion or otherwise)to an ally that, upon being hit by attacks (by the enemy that was targeted) will split the damage between the enemy and the ally.
