*Insert Cool Champion Name* Rock/Mountain Based Champ

First off let me explain the title as if it may confuse some of you viewers. I really don't care what this champion is named because if Riot does choose to make this champion a reality, then it certainly won't be the name ive listed in the title. I don't know why others in this forum make up their own names. It's Riot's game and it should be their call. I've made other suggestions in the past that have come to life and I must say im greatly appreciative :) (such as Jinx's Q and R) and thanks to Riot for noticing.

But anyways here is the walkthrough:

Im looking to create a champion that someone could play as a melee chaser/tank/jungler/maybe even support, if played correctly.

Passive: When outnumbered, (1v3, 2v3, 2v4, 4v5) depending on how drastic sittuation becomes, this champion and its visible on-screen allies gain bonus Armor and Mr. For example, when your team has 1 less (-1) champion than the other, you and your team gain +8 armor and mr. -2 = +16 armor and mr and so on. However, if your team seems to outnumber the other, then this champion alone will take extra damage. IE: +1 = 5% +2 = 10% and so on. If this champion is alone with no enemies or allies, it gains no bonus or debuff. If it is even (2v2) then this champion and allies gain half that of a +1 buff. This will literally force the user to make smarter decisions when going in alone or make him/her favor sticking with teammates. You could also throw in an extra effect in there so that he senses a dc'ed player and automatically applies a -1 buff to all of his teammates in an attempt to make 4v5 games a little less hopeless.

Q: It would throw a grappling hook (or some weird extension of the body) that latches onto terrain and other friendly terrain (such as wards or heimer's turrets) and draws the user to it. Note this would not deal any damage for it should only be used on terrain and have a low cooldown or the user should have stacks of it for continuous use to create a highly mobile character that can make some interesting unthinkable plays when his hooks are angled correctly. And the effect of the constant draw to his hooks near walls or turrets and such would make his playstyle somewhat predictable for possible counters. The range of the hooks I imagine should resemble that of Amumus Q or hey why not even longer to give him an even more mobile advantage ;). Champions could also block the grapple if it hits them or you could even make it somehow hurt the user if it hits like damage the user or increase the cooldown of the next hook.

W: As the user moves, he creates a wide ditch in the ground behind him that would initially do nothing (maybe you could have it slow enemies or something), but upon second activation would create an impassable stone wall, deal magic damage, and encase enemies caught in the ditch in stone, making the unable to move or attack for 1.25/1.5/1.75/2/2.5 seconds. The user should also be able to Q across the land while creating this ditch, the W would have a set amount of time before the ditch is no longer created so as to make hes not so OP that you could cover and entire lane 3 times over. I imagine at max 2 times over if there are 2 ingeniously placed hooks on both walls of a lane or jungle. Or you could give him a set distance that it could be created. That is up to the Riot Balancing team. The champion could also opt to Q to one of the walls he created as an engage to get in closer to an encased enemy or as a retreat if they feel need be. After all it is a friendly terrain.

E: Empowers its next attack, which will give the user a jump cast range that makes the champion jump IN FRONT of the targeted enemy while also slightly knocking it back and marking them with a Stone Symbol, that gives allies who attack the target bonus armor that stacks up to 3 times. Armor bonus: 1/2/3/4/5.

R (Ultimate): At an alarming range (say as far as Ezreal's Q) this champion can summon a gigantic mountain that covers and blocks off at least 50% of a lane to, id like it to be more (around 65-70%) that knocks up enemies in the middle and knocks back enemies closer to the user and knocks away enemies on the other side of the mountain. While the champion is near his great mountain of superiority he will gain bonus AD and AP and his teammates will also receive 1/3 of this bonus as long as they are also in close proximity to the mountain. This as well is considered friendly terrain and would make his Q open to use as an engage or coupled together as a great escape. I am aware of the idea of the size of the mountain could be too big to be used in many areas of the jungle, just make it so it cannot be used in those areas. Turn the circle red or something. The idea of this ultimate is to bring back the godliness of an ultimate, other ults in comparison just have the champion do some really cool trick like the Vel'Koz Laser or Fiora's little wreck-spree or a long-range snipe from Caitlyn or Ahri's triple dash. I miss the days of the big Annie Bear or the Renekton/Nasus Humungo-growth. With the size of his mountain he'd become less viable in the jungle and more about teamfights near dragon or baron or in lane, towerdiving even.

Other Notes: -Make this champion slow, very slow, he should be one of those immobile unstoppable tanks. He has 2 initiates and a wide variety of skills he can use to make those initiates very well worth it.

  • Its about the placement of the fight, the teamfights in the jungle against this champion would be both good and bad depending on if he has his ult or not. If he does have his ult he wont be able to use it because the jungle is too small to erect a huge mountain in the middle of it. Therefore if the other team does not want to deal with that, they should opt to teamfight in the jungle through a bush gank. But if he doesnt have his ult then it really doesnt matter because he still has many walls he can grapple to

Generally people create names for their champions as just another creative flair they can add to help it stand out. Lol I personally enjoy coming up with names and titles to help push the concept into a more realistic light and possibly get more interest in it. And who knows riot my fall in love with one and use it on another champ. You never know.
