Oliver, Savant of the Sacred Art
Does league have a ink-based champion? None if I recall correctly. So I wanted to spit a concept out there to become possible maybe one day. Melee based, uses a giant paint brush to auto attack and carries and giant inkwell on his back, literally, to collect the blood of his enemies. Oliver can use the blood of his enemies to empower his abilities with his Sacred Art. Passive - Sacred Art - Oliver's basic attacks deal aoe damage in a sweep in front of him, all enemies other than the one targeted take 50% of the damage. If Oliver kills an enemy he gains a stack of Sacred Media, these stacks can be later used for his ultimate or to empower his abilities. The mechanic should just work as a double activate when casting to empower them (EX: Q - Q - Target). Minions give 1 stack, Large monsters give 2 and champion kills give 8. Empowered abilities consume 10 stacks. Q -** Splatter** - Oliver swings his brush downward plopping the area in front of him with ink in a somewhat straight line (imagine kog ooze). The ink should not hit enemies directly in front of Oliver as it should land just outside his normal attack range (its the physics of liquid people!). Enemies hit take physical damage and have their movement speed slowed 20%/25%/30%/35%/40% and attack speed slowed 15%/20%/25%/30%/35% for 2 seconds after they leave the ink pool. The ink lasts 5 seconds on the ground, enemies who walk in it after the initial splash only recieve the slow debuff. Oliver gains 10/15/20/25/30% movement speed when walking in the ink pool. Empowered - Wash - Oliver sweeps the area in front of him creating an ink pool in the shape of a cone in front of him. This damage enemies directly in front of Oliver and creates a wider inkpool. Oliver and his allies gain the movement speed buff while in the pool and enemies that walk in or hit but the ink receive both debuffs for 3 seconds after they leave. This ink pool stays in play for 7 seconds. Cooldown - 10/10/9/9/8 seconds
W - Summon - Oliver can only activate this ability on an area/enemy/ally that has been affected by ink. Oliver consumes the ink to create a living bull made of ink. The bull acts much like malzys voidling. If Oliver uses an enemy to summon the bull the bull automatically auto attacks that enemy once summoned. Empowered- Charge! - Oliver doesn't need ink pools to summon the bull, instead it erupts from under him and gives him a ride as the bull dashes forward, dealing physical damage and knocking to the side all enemies hit. At the end of the distance Oliver hops off the bull and the bull continues to live. The bull lives for 20 seconds or until it is killed. Cooldown - 26/25/23/21/19 seconds
E - Protective Coat/ Corrosive Coat - Self/Ally cast Oliver creates a thick layer of ink around his target for 1 second, the next ability that affects the target will breach the coat and do 75% reduced damage. If the coat is successfully breached Oliver gains 5 stacks of Sacred Media. Cannot be cast on enemy without empowerment. Empowered - Self/Ally cast give the same effect except if the coat is breached the target receives no damage and gains 10/15/20/25/30 armor and magic resistance for 2 seconds after it is breached. If cast on an enemy Oliver covers them in his ink, dealing magic damage and reducing their armor and magic resistance over 3 seconds (reduction 5% per second). After the duration the debuffs and the ink last on the enemy for 3 more seconds. Cooldown - 13/12/11/10/9 seconds
R - Blood Dragon - Oliver takes 1.25 seconds to cast. After cast, a dragon made of a mix of ink and blood erupts from the inkwell on his back. The dragon spits exploding ink bullets from a range, ink bullets have a small aoe damaging effect and deal physical damage. The ink has the same applied debuff affect as his Q (move speed slow and attack speed slow). If Oliver does not have enough Sacred Media stacks to cast this he can use his own blood instead. If the fight becomes unstable, he can hop into his dragon and control it gaining flight and sight over terrain. Oliver and the dragon share incoming damage 75/75 during this duration, having totally separate armor and magic resist to calculate the damage. Max life of dragon is 12 secondsor until it is killed. Cost: 35 Stacks. If used without sufficient stacks Oliver pays 25 health per stack missing. Cooldown: 275/250/220 seconds
Its alot to take in initially but i believe it would make an interesting and fun champion to play. I hope you guys love it comment suggestions on modifications what you like or hate I love to hear feedback. I like this concept alot mainly because of his versatile kit and play style, the stacks idea will also play a major role late game when one is fully built there is finally incentive to keep farming even after an hour into the game. Oliver players also have to conserve stacks to play smarter - "do i want to ult soon or should I get the upperhand on this fool rn?"
