@IronStylus - how do champion skins affect VUs

...or would having to do a VU for ryze/teemo make your team cry? I understand there's a process that goes on, when does reworking the skins for a VU come in to play and how much time and work does each skin add to a project?

On a semi-related question - would Zyra be a newer champ that your team would rework just so making skins for her would be easier? I know the skins team hates champs like her and her particle effects, is that fixable so we can see more 975 skins for her in the future?

I'm a little confused..

As in, does having a lot of existing skins for a champion effect how difficult a VU would be?

If that's the question, not really. A lot of what we're dealing with are mostly model changes. This leaves us with "not a ton" of work to deal with on the skins. I say that in quotes because it's a relative term. Sometimes it can be daunting, depending on how many skins or unique effects per skin that champion has, but it's never stopped us from working on a particular champion.

No, we really wouldn't do anything with Zyra aside from maybe clean up texture stuff. She'll always be difficult to make skins for (at least if you want a divergent theme) because her particles and effects are largely entirely new models with specific animations.
