Mordekaiser: An empty, forgotten shell?

Mordekaiser seems to only show up when people do that stupid "HUEHUEHUEHUE" meme, something I always roll my eyes at. His lack of high-tier viability due to poor counterplay requiring his strength to be on the low end has had him fade into obscurity, AFAIK.

(Of course, that didn't stop me from kicking Jayce's ass last time I played Mord in top lane. XD)

I'm curious as to whether or not Riot has anything down the pipe for him in what's left of Season 4. Probably not, but I'd like to ask nonetheless.

Yeah, Mord is no longer what he used to be. It would be a fabulous idea to buff him, as well as tweak and maybe add more skins.

He simply is not in the meta anymore and personally I think it would make the game better. Mordekaiser is practically the mascot of LoL, just look at the gift cards.

I want my Mordekaiser back, cuz 6v4!

Mordekaiser is never forgotten.

On a serious note, while Mordekaiser is probably going to be looked at (Stupid cones, bad shields, etc.), he's not a super high priority when we compare it to things like Karthu's VU, the eventual Sion rework/vu, and so forth.

...However, his Pentakill skin is getting updated to look spiffy, from what we've seen on the PBE.

Personally, I wouldn't mind him just rusting away. I dislike how he is right now, and it's not just because I used to play a lot of Akali.

mordekaiser is definitely forgotten. his e needs more range and his abilities should cost less health. also more base attack dmg item 3089 the ultimate item for him

Mordekaiser is probably about to be one of the Champs everyone is about to use, because no one knows how to face him. Look at Ryze top as an (albeit iffy) example. You see him so few times, you get beat by him, even if it's just the early game.

There was this other time, a Poppy Jungle in one of my games that gave me all kinds of heck in the first ~15 minutes, because I had no real idea how top fight him. Then he kept fail diving, which I chalk up to poor planning on his part.

The real problem is Mordekaiser cant stay next to his target long enough to deal all of the damage he needs. If you don't one shot someone then they get away and its even harder in team fights when everyone focuses you as you walk up to kill the carries. What is needed is a buff of his base movement speed from 340 to 350 to add some chasing power.
