Lobby insta-chat ban

So I know this isn't so much of a bug, but there's absolutely no reason why it shouldn't be considered one. This doesn't exist for any intelligent reason at all. But please upvote this... this is an incredibly idiotic issue which still persists.

We all know what this is- You join a game lobby, and before you can type anything, you're just instantly chat banned for 10 seconds or so, and you're unable to call any positions.

How this makes sense is beyond me. Nevermind spamming in the game before, or the chat lobby before, but this issue will occur ever so often for absolutely no reason. It doesn't make any sense and it only gives me the feeling riot wants to force me to play support BUT YOU'RE NOT MY MOM DON'T TELL ME WHAT TO DO I'M TOP AND THAT'S IT END OF DISCUSSION
