Champion Select Bug. Please help.

I was in champion select, and it randomly just left champion select after I hit Ctrl+A and then Ctrl+X while my focus was in the chat box (to select all the text and cut it out). So now the game has decided that I abandoned a game.

Is Ctrl+X REALLY the command to leave a champion select? Otherwise, I want to make sure that either A) This bug is looked at since Riot eventually punishes people who abandon games and since it thinks I abandoned a game when I didn't even want to, that is a problem.
B) That Ctrl+X is ACTUALLY the shortcut to abandon a champion select so I never use it again for a simple cut command.
