that is indeed true. but the real problem comes when you do it the "riot way" for example releasing a new client that has way more problems than the old one and then ignoring these problems. while yes fixing the issues isnt that easy, why release something that is worse than the older version? you just ask to create more bugs

Well because in the long run the client ends up much better. Riot just needs to improve the stress testing in client updates to fix that, but it takes time amd reasources. I agree they are a bit trigger happy with their client updates, but it's just very hard to predict possible issues even with stress tests and PVE, so it's just easier to release it and see what's wrong.

Including video evidence has no effect on Riot fixing the bug. Plus, no one records themselves playing so you can see them press the button after death in this case.

Yes, because this is a channel to report an issue to Riot. This channel happens to be on the boards. I'm not reporting this to YOU. And yes, I'm basically saying I will press F just after I die, and it casts. You can report bugs with no evidence.

Onto the 'evidence', like I said, presenting evidence has no bearing on whether or not Riot fixes a bug. Ask Vandarill. He has METICULOUS videos on bugs explaining them. Demonstrating them, and I've seen him say on Reddit that he has videos of bugs years and years old that aren't fix. He's also made a video saying at how frustrating it is for him that Riot barely fixes anything. Then there is Riot is quite bad at actually fixing bugs (Look at Nunu W bugs, and the Master Yi Q bug that was 'fixed' in the notes and people immediately reporting it again at the start of patch because it was still going on)

I personally have reported over 100 bugs in the 5+ years I've played this game (way under estimate). I used to be meticulous in including videos and such. I don't waste the time much anymore, since I would report far more bugs than were ever fixed. I still write some such text up real quick highlighting a bird's eye view of a bug, and submit it. I don't spend 5-10 minutes getting the replay. Finding when the bug happened. Clipping it. Putting it out on the web, so I can link it here.

So I will report a bug, and not add the time above that since to me, Riot doesn't seem to care.

As for during gray screen, yes, that is my claim. I've flashed a few times this patch after I took the fatal damage.

yes and its riots job to try to replicate and fix it if it turns out to be true. they are the ones making money off of the game you want to make sure its working properly before people leave due to bull shit

That is how flash works. For like, half a second, you are at both locations at once, so you can still die at your old location in that moment. And if you think that is bad, then think about how powerfully flash is already, and how much it allows you to escape the consequences of making mistakes. It is good that it isn't an 100% get out of jail free button, that there is still a way to fail even when you have it.

It shouldn't let you cast the spell after you die though. That shouldn't be a 'mistake' that you die, you press F .25 seconds later, and it still casts.

You still don't understand. You don't cast the spell after you die. The sequence of events is:

you cast the spell.
for 0.25-0.5 seconds you are in both locations at once
during this time you are killed at the old location $ the spell ends and your body disappears from the old location and is left at the new location

No, you don't understand. There have been times where I've physically pressed the key after I've died, and it cast the spell. I get what you are saying. That just isn't what has happened for what I'm talking about.

No because it would be indistinguishable with what you've said (especially with your .5 second window that you've said which is unrealistic imo. Flash doesn't last half a second). I'm also not going to video record myself or at least my keyboard and PIP it into the video.

I was just giving 0.5 as an example. I know its shorter. And why on earth would i need to see your keyboard? All i need is gameplay footage, In slo-mo, you'll clearly see the yellow light flash animation appearing at the new location BEFORE you die. That is proof Flash has already been cast.

We're just going in circles arguing here, each of us unwilling to admit the other person's version. You know what would break the stalemate? Actual physical proof. So, in order to avoid continuously arguing, pls just show me actual evidence of the bug.

In my experince i dont think ive come across this bug but something that has the same result. taking near lethal damage surviving with critical less than 2% hp and on champions flash then die to champions with no way to do dot. It seems like something riot would intentionally insitute to placate those people who cry it feels bad to hit some one and they survive with a sliver of health Rather than telling them make sure to do enough damage and not try to fade away shot run away while your auto in the air not confirming the kill
