Pressing Tab during game freezes my system

Every time I pressed tab during an aram on butchers bridge today it caused my whole system to crash and I had to restart my computer to get back on. At first I thought it was just my computer, but I was still able to do everything else just fine. I tried it 3 separate times and I can confirm that it was definitely pressing tab that was causing everything to crash on me. I attached a picture I took of my screen with my phone. I am also running the game on a Mac.

*Update: it does not seem to be doing this on rift. I can check the scoreboard just fine in normals

Not the only one. Same problem occurs when I am in a game, I do my best to not press tab but I do because of instinct. I get a frozen screen and I have to restart my comp. Also mac, Late 2008 Mac Desktop I am hoping this gets fixed and possibly something in return as several problems have been occurring with macs recently. I am playing normal and this happens. Riot Please fix!!!!
