Ward item bug - ongoing since the last ward item change

This has been an ongoing problem - it has been in existence (I think) since the last ward item changes. To summarize: each ward item, after using them, will allow you to ping that you have x number of wards left (e.g., Nomad's Medallion - 0 charges left). HOWEVER, after a period of time lapses (and this seems to vary - anywhere from 30 seconds to 1 minute), you are unable to indicate that all your wards have been placed and that you have zero wards left to place. The item can be clicked on to indicate that you have it (e.g., that you have Targon's Brace) - but that is all. So if a player has muted communications, then there is no way to indicate that you are not able to place another ward until you recall.
