[Server] "Definitely Server-side" lag spikes recently.

Hey all, normally when I have connection issues, my ping goes up to maybe 150 for a few seconds, and I chalk it up to people being home and using the internet. Recently, however, I've been getting ping spikes in the 4-digit range when I am certain that I'm the only one using the internet. Also everyone else on my team and the enemy team reported bad lag spikes at these times.

Here are the reasons I am nearly 100% certain this is a server-side issue: I have no other programs running. I tested my connection during the spike with "testmy.net" and received a normal result, with very little fluctuation. Others in the same game reported pings in the same range as I was experiencing. (1000+) I only get spikes this bad when I am playing League. I am the only person on my connection when this happens, and there is less than 6 feet of empty air between my laptop and the router.

This has only been an issue recently (the past few weeks) and only when playing League. I have had no problems whatsoever with my connection during any other usage of the internet.

I don't know if you looked around the forums but I have yet to see a topic on this that Riot has responded to. I experience this a lot since 8.6, usually sit at around 43 ms and spike to anywhere from the hundreds to the thousands like you. Before 8.6 I generally sat at about 32-36 ms and nothing in my setup has changed so it's gotta be the patch. Like everyone else I'm assuming it was do to the voice chat added.
