FPS drops to as low as 2 fps, especially when casting spells and near other champions. Sound gets glitchy. To remedy, you have to disable all sound effects in-game. Been missing pings and stuff since I have to play without sound.
Apparently, this problem doesn't exist to Riot since there has not been a single Red posting about it. Very aggravating. A large enough player base uses macs and this should be a priority, as it makes the game unplayable.

I am too. I have posted on other forums and they still refuse to acknowledge or even hot fix it.
Riot posted comments trying to say its people's ISP and Connection, yet it isn't my ISP or my connection. I love how Riot tries to use that every time something goes wrong. It's on riot's end. Not the ISP. It wouldn't be everyone with a mac if it was ISP!
Hopefully in time they'll either discover the bug or inadvertently fix it with the next patch
I was having the same problem. I updated my OS to El Capitan from Mavericks, and games are running smoothly again. Hope this helps.
i have lost 10 games straight due to this bug, hard to team figth when u lag like dat, the soundis also bugging my head real bad, pls fix fix fix or i'll keep feeding
