Game Freezes in-game; Cannot Tab out
- In-game only
- Screen freezes completely
- The game is still going on, but the screen is frozen
- Have to ctrl-alt-dlt and shut down or sign out, cannot even end task
- cannot switch windows
- Only since patch 9.22

Same thing is happening to me, would appreciate a fix
Its possible to end task by having task manager set to always be on top of programs by default.
if you find a solution please tell me. this has been going on and making it impossible to climb and now im on leaver buster....who has 20 mins to wait for a que 5 times because riots client is broken? nobody
this has literally happened to be for the fifth time this week... I don’t know why I’m stupidly playing this game if I know it’s gonna freeze...
It's been happening multiple times this patch, but the most criminal was my last game, where I was playing Vi in the jungle and my game crashed twice, leaving me behind. Needs fixed soon and it's only happening on 9.22.

Maybe not the problem, but check your internet connection. The game will freeze (at least this happened to me) when you lose internet.
same happens to me i cant play the goddamn game
A workaround if you don't want to shut down because of a frozen client is to set the window option to borderless.
