Champ Select Slow/Not Working

Lately, whenever I queue up for games, champion select does one of two things. It either takes waaay too long to load, which is anywhere from 2-5 seconds to load, to not actually starting up at all. I got placed in a 5 minute wait timer just now because champion select wouldn't load at all. I have no idea what's causing this.
