AR URF randomly assigned champion bug

I can't really provide good evidence, but me and 3 of my friends all experienced the same thing:

After the first game of URF, the following game we received the exact same champion a second time. This didn't all happen at once because all of my friends played their first game of URF separately.

Wondering if this happened for anyone else or if it was just a coincidence.

Probably. Riot might just want to protect their hextech chests from the op of urf, while answering people's addiction to urf. If you have an S for that champion already, why wouldn't riot make you play the same champion? If you cheese hextech chests too easily, no one will buy them, resulting in less income to riot. Makes sense in a marketing perspective.

Then again I'm just mad I can't pick my champions for urf so don't quote me.
