Caitlyn W Bug

I don't know if this is just a thing with her ability, but it should be noted if it is. I noticed that her W snap traps don't snap right away, and I don't know if that's how it's always been or if it's in actual bug. It's really annoying though, because I'll be playing with someone like thresh and he'll pull and I'll place a trap and it won't snare the champion. Same goes with when I'm trying to get away and my net is on cooldown. I placed a trap in an earlier game, and Volibear was able to walk right over it. Is this an issue with anyone else?
