And it's so bad that I can't just leave and restart. I have to shut off the whole computer because the esc option wont come up. I cant even exit. this has only appeared this patch and idk why.
When I logged back in, it acted like it was my first time playing league. Just for a regular login. like I didnt uninstall and download.
i am having the same exact problem, been playing league 10 years, this has never happened before. I can log off windows tho, but i can't ctrl alt del, i also hear the league sounds in the background, but it's just frozen.
its driving me nuts... because my internet is expensive. My laptop is new. browsers closed.. yet here we are... And not only is it not working, I'm going to get punished???
Same here, I am experiencing game freezes in the middle of the game with no warning or obvious cause. Have never had a problem in the past (with any game I play). My PC is capable of running any game that is currently out at max settings with no issues. The only fix I have found is restarting. Can't get the game to minimize at all. Just reinstalled the game last night, so I will be testing more to see if that fixed the issue.

Same thing happening to me. Anyone experience a way to fix it? If I play in windowed borderless I can alt+tab and get to task manager to close it down. That and signing out have been my fix for the moment.
Having the same issue. Even did a fresh install of Windows 10 on a new SSD and fresh League and drivers. Still having the same issue. Anyone figure this out??
my league started freezing in-game lately i tried the hextech repair tool nothing worked my game freezes in anymode and i can't force shutdown from taskmanager i have to restart my pc and go back to league then it works but in the future the same problem happens again i can't keep reseting cause it will probably get me banned cause people think i am rage quitting
