Extreme Client Lag

Ever since I got the newest patch installed, the champ select screen occasionally lags so badly that I'm unable to ban or pick a champion no matter how many times I click. Just now I got penalized for "leaving champion select" because I wasn't able to lock in a champion. Anyone else experiencing the same issue?

yes, it's totally messed up. dont play ranked until they fix the client IMO.. or if you must, restart it every 2 games.
