Game stuttering. FPS sometimes drops.

This is an issue I have with both of my computers. My laptop has a GTX 1050 and i7 processor. My Desktop is an i5 and has a GTX 970. My game will often stutter while I'm moving my character in game. It makes thing feel clunky and gives me an disadvantage in game. I don't know what to do. I used to have no issues. I have my FPS capped at 80 on both computers too. I've tried turning graphic settings down but I don't think thats the issue. If I can run games that are more graphically intense why can't League run smoothly? I swear it's gotten worse in the last few patches. I like to run videos in the background but that was never an issue before.

It’s not just you the games damn near unplayable on my i7 processor computer also I thrned graphics down and ran repair tool it’s a dang shame that this only happened with this new client that no one asked for and is far worse than the old one.

I've been having this issue as well, I even turned down my graphics and capped the fps just like you. What I learned is that the fps drop is not unique to your system, it happens to just about everyone. I queue regularly with three/four friends of mine and we recently discovered that we experience the same drop in fps at the same time. They have been complaining about fps lag and we never made the connection that it was at the same time until recently. We all have different computers with different gpu's and processors, so I truly don't understand what the issue is. It's not even a teamfight or particle thing, it'll happen sometime when im alone in the jungle and no one is fighting, or randomly while trying to cs. It's completely random. It's incredibly frustrating and this has been happening (at least for me) for almost five months now, I wish they would at least acknowledge this problem exists.

This patch is insanely bad. It just stutters randomly.
