Help! Hotkeys spontaneously not working

Recently, I've noticed that League's hotkey's will stop working on occasion when I tab out of the loading screen, or even after the game has started. Typically this results in me having to force close the client and reload into the game. This is especially a problem when I'm trying to get skype going in a game, or start a music play list.

The issue is that, with my most recent game, I did not tab out at anytime before the game started and my hotkeys would not function at all, even after restarting League 5 times (While the game was going Mind you)

P.S When I say hotkeys, I mean Summoner spells, abilities, and even the Back hotkey. Hotkeys like the Scoreboard, and Champion info still work, and For some reason, leveling up abilities using alt+(Hotkey) still works despite nothing else working. Help please T.T
