Client freezes when you try to change summoner spells

I've probably made 20+ posts about this over the years, but nothing has changed. I have had the client freeze, on multiple different computers and accounts, when trying to change summoner spells. I then receive a timer for "recently abandoning a game". Its happened 2-3 times the past week or so, so I finally decided to make another post.
