#Beta Client

Click the cog to the top right corner of the client then click "Initiate Full Repair".

#Legacy Client

Repair the game by clicking the question mark icon to the top right of the patcher. Select "Repair" and let the patcher scan and repair corrupt game files. When the process is completed, you'll see the orange "Launch" button.

Let us know the results.

Yes, it does lol. Don't waste time repairing the client, I know many others experiencing this same issue. It is most certainly a bug and will hopefully be fixed next patch. :)

Please stop spreading false rumors of repairs consuming extended periods of time. It is a bug but it is not affecting all players and in some instances a repair may resolve the issue.

It's also highly unlikely that the same thing broke client side on all of my PCs on the same day.

No, I haven't, because the bug is sporadic for me. Sometimes player names show and sometimes they don't.

You're complaining. This isn't a complaint forum, we're here to assist with bugs and other issues. Either state your case so we can assist or don't.

Not exactly, it depends on your CPU's speed however. Average ~15 - 20 minutes.

It's not a client bug, it's an in-game bug.

Repairing the client repairs the entire game as well. Any corrupted or missing files are replenished during the process.

Thank you for getting back to us. This bug may be fixed in Patch 7.2 on Wednesday, January 25th. If you still experience this bug afterwards, let us know and we'll provide an update.

At this time there is nothing else you can do, it's up to the developers and we thank you for your patience while a fix is developed!
